Dr. Chand developed an interest in dentistry as young as 13 years when a personal experience confirmed her calling to help patients and in bringing a smile to their faces. Dr. Chand’s expertise spans a 24 plus year journey as an Academician and Clinician. She has held Senior Academic Ranks as an Associate Professor, Director and Interim Chair through her journey as Faculty at the Dental Hospitals at University of Louisville and the University of Maryland.
Dr. Chand is a skilled professional but is also known for being soft-spoken and has a calming and compassionate approach that ensures patient comfort through the procedures. She is committed to providing a positive experience in the office. She treats every patient with the same empathy, care and attention that one would for their own family. Her practice centers around an Evidence- Based Practice Model. She is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to her patients and brings modern cutting edge technology to her everyday practice amidst prioritizing the well-being of her patients. She values the importance of lifelong learning and its impact on clinical practice. Dr. Chand enjoys building positive relations with the multidisciplinary teams in dentistry to facilitate everyday care.
In 2002 she received her Master’s in Endodontics from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Chand is board certified and a Diplomate of The American Board of Endodontics. Dr. Chand was the Past President of the College of Diplomates and the Director of mentoring for the College of Diplomates.
Dr. Chand resides in Howard County with her family. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling and experiencing diverse cultures and cuisines.
